The host was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and spacious. Still, the accommodation is very basic. There's no garden or terrace and no breakfast. Two ground-floor rooms had their own patios and some plants, maybe that's the garden mentioned in the listing. The windows were frosted, so I couldn't see outside, which was a shame even if the view was just the alley wall. The in-room safe was broken.

The service and location were great, but the rooms were a bit dirty.

Finding The Arrivals Homes the first time was confusing because Google Maps marked the wrong spot, and it took me 10 minutes. To get there, enter alley 49, turn right and continue a little farther. The Homes will be on your left. The area in front of the house is dark, with few lights on. There is a doorbell, but it seemed nobody heard it.

I ended up sweeping the cookie crumbs my child dropped because no one responded when I asked for the room to be cleaned. The room itself is large and nicely decorated, so the lack of response really soured the stay and left me with a poor impression of the hotel. The staff seemed indifferent. We travel a lot and aren't used to being treated this way.
