The Passion Suite Hotel

The location is genuinely good, with plenty of good food nearby and a Circle K across the street. Breakfast wasn’t bad either. But the bed was basically a wooden board with what felt like a one-inch mattress. Some people might like that, but I felt every bruise from a massage whenever I rolled over. It’s awful for side sleepers. The pillows were huge and hard as rocks, only useful for lounging. Unless you can sleep with your ear on your shoulder or chest, they’re unusable. The building is poorly made, with big gaps around the doors letting in outside light and sound. There’s no soundproofing at all, and the karaoke place right next door comes through loud and clear. You can sing along to every terrible note. On my other side, two women have been squealing and laughing for two nights. As I write this at 6 a.m., they’re still at it. I called staff last night and, to their credit, the women left for a while, which let me get a restless bit of sleep. But when they came back, the door slammed and woke me. Since then I’ve been tossing around, drifting in and out of sleep while hearing every joke, song, and laugh. A hotel at this price should let you sleep. My schedule is already messed up from the time change, and between the hard bed, useless pillows, karaoke, and people yelling, I haven’t had anything like a proper night’s rest. I’m miserable and exhausted, with my neck and back hurting. I even had to use my airplane pillow to try to line up my neck. I can’t wait to leave today and get somewhere quiet with a normal pillow. I want to sleep so badly.

Hieu, Phung, and Huong made the stay especially memorable with their warm manner and great service. I spent six days here, and everything was handled carefully. The team was professional, friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. I had a really wonderful experience and would recommend the place.

After a long flight, Passion hotel was a perfect place to land in Ho Chi Minh. Kent was a wonderful host.

The location is great, with a beautiful park just a two-minute walk away. Kent was very helpful to us and speaks English really well. I'd recommend this place to travelers visiting the country.
