TRIPLE E HOTEL Metro Ben Thanh

We stayed six nights with my family during Tet and had a great time in two Saigon Breath Above rooms. They were new, spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The shower room was huge and the beds were very comfortable. Cafes, an ATM, and restaurants were a short walk away, with a coin laundry shop right beside the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. They cleaned the rooms every day and provided two free bottles of water per room daily. The AC worked very well, and little pockets of green around the hotel made it feel less suffocating. Since it was Tet, the street was quieter than other parts of District 1. I’m glad I chose Triple E for our trip.

The breakfast was delicious, and our room on the 8th floor was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We had a great two-night stay at Hotel Triple E Metro Ben Thanh. The staff were kind and attentive: they took our bags when we arrived early in the morning and kindly printed our Cambodia visas the morning we needed them. The location worked perfectly for us.

We knew the Enjoyable Above room from a five-day stay about three weeks earlier, so we expected the same room at the back with a city view. This time, though, we were put in a street-facing room. When I asked for the type we had booked on Agoda, reception admitted they had made a mistake. The only alternative they offered was a first-floor room facing a concrete wall about 5 meters away. They never apologized or offered compensation. That was poor treatment for returning customers.

The location worked perfectly for me, with plenty of food nearby, including Little Hanoi, Bo Ne, and Pho, plus shops within an easy walk. Our Junior Deluxe room in 604A was clean, well lit, and had a “city” view. It was very quiet, which mattered most to us, and we slept well. The American King bed was soft and came with four comfortable pillows. There was no bad smell at all, not even cigarette smoke or spray. I only noticed two small issues. The front door needs a push or pull to shut properly because it doesn’t close itself all the way. The handheld shower spray was fine, but the ceiling spray had weak pressure and ran slowly. Breakfast was just okay. The orange juice tasted like powdered Tang, and although I had breakfast four times, I only ate there twice because there are lots of choices nearby.
