The room was big, and the bed was firm and comfortable, but the plumbing was terrible. The toilet had low water pressure and the sink basin was broken. I’d stayed here before and had a good experience. This time, the price changed suddenly when I went to pay. My wife had called locally and arranged three nights at 400k, 700k, and 700k. We arrived at 3am, and reception asked me to settle the bill in the morning while holding on to my passport. In the morning they wanted 900k for each of the extra two nights. I showed them a screenshot of the conversation with the prices my wife had arranged, but reception rejected that quote and said the higher price was a tax for women's day weekend. I paid for my half day and checked out. The customer service felt poor and deceptive.

Our room was a decent size, had all the facilities we needed, and was well insulated from road noise, so it stayed very quiet. The evening receptionist Vong was especially friendly and went out of her way to help us. She gave excellent service, even though it was only her second day on the job.

Book this place if you’re after a quiet, non-touristy spot with a nice, homely feel. The room was amazing, and the location was good.

There’s a full kitchen and a beautiful view, and the rooms are incredible. The staff are lovely too. It’s in a quiet but vibrant, non-touristy part of Saigon. I’ll definitely stay here again on future trips.

The rooms are reasonably priced, and the staff are very helpful. This homestay is near Vuon Xoai Church on Le Van Si Street, in a busy residential area with plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and services nearby. Quite a few foreign tourists stay here. The building closes after midnight, so you’ll need to call security if you arrive later. Good value for the price.
