Zenstay

The apartment is in a very good location, but the reality was disappointing. We’d planned to spend the last two nights of our Vietnam trip somewhere cozy and well located, and chose Zenstay because the Airbnb photos looked lovely. They seem quite old, though, and you can tell room 4 has been heavily used. There was mold and a smell in every room. Disgusting, and such a letdown. One afternoon I came back to find two ladies by the key boxes, holding a paper with every PIN code handwritten on it. They were struggling to open the boxes, which felt VERY STRANGE. Ten minutes later, one of them was in my room. That’s when I decided to carry the key with me all the time. Maybe they were just the cleaning ladies, but nobody had told us the room would be cleaned daily.
