We booked a Gallery Superior room through Agoda. The listing clearly showed a jacuzzi in the room photos, and both our confirmation and receipt said that was the category we’d booked. At check-in, the hotel wouldn’t give us the room shown and said it wasn’t what we had reserved, even though the Agoda photos for Gallery Superior showed a jacuzzi. Not long after we raised the issue, that room and its photos had disappeared from the listing. The hotel didn’t acknowledge any mistake or offer a goodwill gesture. They also refused to approve a free cancellation or refund, and we spent more than 1.5 hours trying to sort it out. We eventually contacted Agoda ourselves, and they got us a full refund despite the hotel’s initial refusal. Be careful booking here. Even with evidence of what was listed, the hotel took no responsibility and offered no customer care. We provided screenshots and the receipt, and still have all the proof available.

The location was the best part for us, very convenient for exploring Hoi An. Service and cleanliness were good, and breakfast had a decent range of things to choose from. The pool, though, looked old and not very well maintained, so we didn’t feel like using it. It was an okay stay, but nothing particularly special.

Nice room and a good hotel. The restaurant staff were great, and I really liked the background music. Cheese and jujube at breakfast were delicious, though I’d have liked a bit more variety in the spread. Linda on the service team tried hard to give extra attentive hospitality, and I appreciated that. Thank you, Le Pavillon Gallery Hoi An Hotel & Spa!

We ended up at this hotel after having trouble with our other accommodation in Hoi An, and we stopped in to ask about a room. The reception staff were really friendly and found us a high quality room at a reasonable price. The breakfast buffet had lots of savoury and sweet options, and was great. We spent most of our time out exploring, with Old Town just a 10 minute walk away. Highly recommend.

It’s a three star hotel. The rooms look nice, but they’re old and have a stale smell. The toilet layout isn’t great either. The shower head is far from the bath tub, so showering leaves the whole toilet wet. It’s near Hoi An old town.
