The Scarlett Boutique Hotel

I slept really well in my comfortable, quiet room, and the hotel feels peaceful despite being right in the center. It’s tucked away from the main street. Breakfast had plenty of good choices, and the place was clean and comfortable. The staff are what made it special for me. Linda took time every day to chat, make sure I had what I needed, and help me feel welcome. David was funny and friendly, and everyone was kind and had good ideas for things to do and places to eat. I’d definitely stay here again if I come back to Hue.

The staff helped us with directions and suggestions for restaurants, sights, and massages, and even dried off our rented motorbike after it got rained on. Our room was good, and the location was excellent. Having a dehumidifier in the room was a first for us in Vietnam, and it really helped with the humidity. I’d come back if I’m in Hue again.

We booked a half-day private drive with Binh, arranged through reception so we could see the main sights at our own pace. He was such a kind, lovely person, and he speaks English too. The accommodation and driver were both excellent value. Our room was the compact Passion, 303, up by elevator. It was clean, nicely decorated, and had a big comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of options and helpful, friendly staff. Linda, Thanh & Ryan were also excellent, English-speaking and welcoming. The hotel is central but wonderfully quiet. The room was comfortable, though the furnishings seemed a little dated and there was an old smell, maybe from the curtains. The shower setup wasn’t ideal either. Still, the location and the staff were amazing, so helpful and hospitable. The roosters next door started up at 6am and got us moving early each day, haha.
