Le More Hotel

I don't really understand the five-star reviews. Why require a passport as a check-in deposit when cash could be left instead? The toilet in the room wasn't good, and both breakfast and the hotel facilities were so-so.

On December 06, I was only using the hotel before heading to the airport and wasn't staying overnight. At check-in I needed an extra key, and staff asked me for $10. When I checked out, they said they'd given me two keys and that I'd left the $10 receipt in my room. They said they would check the room. I pointed out that the $10 was a key deposit and asked for it back since I had returned the key. Then a staff member said that if I gave them $10, I could go back to the airport or anywhere, and they would give me another $10 back. I got angry and asked what kind of fraud this was. They returned the $10, and I signed a statement saying I'd received it. At that point I felt the staff had cheated me. If they were going to have me sign for getting the money back, why hand it back in the first place? I felt insulted by being treated like a liar. I'll never return to a hotel like this.

Great service and a lovely price, with the best location.

I stayed here three times over two years. The location is good and the room design is nice, but the hotel has got noisier and fuller, and the rooms don't block much street sound. The gym is too small for me. On arrival you have to leave your passport or 500.000vnd, which I don't consider normal. Prices keep going up each year while the hotel gets older and hasn't been renovated, so I stopped coming.
