Tuyet Mai 2 Hotel

Ants even made it onto my bed, which was the worst part. My room faced the road, with cars making loud noise late at night and again from around 4:30 in the morning, so I couldn't get a good night's sleep. There was no elevator or bellboy, and I had to carry my luggage up to the third floor myself. I was moved here from Tuyet Mai Hotel because of a reservation error.

The room was narrow, with a balcony facing the street, and the TV had no remote. The water heater seemed unusual, possibly broken and repaired, and there was a two-way air conditioner. It cost over 300k VND a night for two people in one double bed, which felt acceptable and suited backpackers. The hotel is right across the road from the beach, handy if you like swimming, though it's far from the city's entertainment and dining areas.

I parked my motorbike out front after the owner asked whether I had one. I went up to sleep for a few hours, then came back down to find its lock broken and the seat detached. A repair shop told me it was a burglary. Luckily, the bike had an anti-theft system. Otherwise, I don't know how I would have got home. I'm in Da Lat :)))

Awful. The owner wouldn't cooperate, and they even cheated us out of a few bottles of water =)) The price listed was different from what we were actually charged :D
