Mui Ne Ocean House

The balcony view is lovely, and the location works well, right by the beach and just outside the seafood restaurants. The rooms have some space and locks, and the bathroom was okay. I did notice a strange smell on the top floor, though.

The beds were really good, the room was decent, and the pool was a nice thing to have. But the receptionist always seemed to sigh when we asked questions or paid with “too big money,” and she didn’t seem to like us. Staff were also very loud in the lobby early in the morning. It woke me up and made it hard to fall asleep again.

The mattresses and pillows are comfortable, but that’s not much help when noise and bad smells keep you awake. Ground floor rooms sit just behind reception and the coffee area, so there’s noise all day and sometimes at night. The bathroom smelled awful, and the odor spread into the room. There was no hot water in the morning, when it was most needed. It’s inexpensive, but they wanted payment at check-in and wouldn’t hand over the key first. I’d ask to see the room and decide whether to pay after.

The hotel, pool, room, and staff were lovely, and the place was very clean and well kept. Thanks for understanding the mess with the travel company we booked through, and a huge thank you for helping look for Louis 😂😂🤤. My only downside was the location for our family. We’d have preferred to be a little nearer the beach, since the kids’ legs get tired quickly. Still, being so close to the yummy fish food was a big bonus. Thanks, guys!
