Phu Quoc Eco Beach Resort

The gardens were beautiful and very well maintained, and the staff were professional, friendly, and focused on guests. Breakfast offered a good mix of Vietnamese and international choices. We loved the restaurant over the water, though it was a bit pricey. The view there is amazing, and you don’t have to leave the hotel to eat. The sea sunsets every day were breathtaking. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

The pool has beautiful views, and the beach has a clean, private swimming area with shade from the trees. There were enough loungers for everyone, plus free kayaks and bikes. The bikes are a bit old but fine for the few-minute ride to the nearby village. We ate at the restaurant a few times and were happy with the food, though prices were a little high. The view makes up for it. We stayed four nights and loved being surrounded by nature, with birds and animals all around. The resort was very well maintained, and staff were always cleaning, handling small repairs, or tending the garden. Everyone was polite, smiling, and welcoming. Our room was huge and had air conditioning, though we slept with the windows open. The large Maldivian-style bathroom had lots of plants. The mattress felt quite hard, maybe we were just unlucky. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. Highly recommended!

The staff were lovely and helpful, especially Thai, who even ushered a big gecko out of our room late one evening. There’s a nice beach, kayaks to use, and bikes by the entrance. The restaurant over the sea serves good food, including vegetarian choices, and breakfast has a wide selection. The location feels like paradise. The only drawback is that the gym needs renewing. Otherwise, highly recommended.

We spent five days here relaxing and exploring the island, and the place lived up to what we hoped for. The houses are cute and spaced apart, so there’s privacy. We loved the clean beach and the infinity pool overlooking the sea, where you can watch the sunset. It’s quiet and in just the right location for us. The nearest village is about a ten-minute walk, or you can rent a scooter. Breakfast was modest but had what you needed, and the service was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely return next time we’re in Vietnam.
