Oyo 719 Hotel Ruby Phu Quoc near Sos Medical Clinic Phu Quoc

It's very cheap, but I agree with the many negative reviews. The staff aren't friendly, the rooms have mould, and there are no facilities. You'll need transport, and places to eat are a long way off.

That breakfast charge really annoyed me. We paid an extra 10 pounds, about 300k in dong, for breakfast, but it's just a set menu and the most expensive dish is 70k dong. At that price, I expected something more like a buffet. When we came down between 7 and 9 to order, nobody was at reception, so we waited 45 minutes just to place the order. The food was mediocre anyway. Today we got two fried eggs and bread, and the bread was completely stale. The food I was given looked like it had come out of the ground. The bed is like a rock, and the moped rental was awful. Our moped's kickstand was broken and kept dropping while we rode, which felt very dangerous. We had to keep pulling over and stopping. Really disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it.

I couldn't find the hotel anywhere on Google Maps. When I called, nobody picked up.

The rooms were clean, and the TV had all the facilities. We liked the place a lot: everything was in place, the conditions were good, and the staff were great.
