The Residence Resort & Villas Phu Quoc

The whole village feels quite new, and I was really impressed with the service. Someone met us at the door for check-in and check-out, and they arranged airport pickup and drop-off too. We could message our butler on WhatsApp during the stay, which was handy. Buggy rides were available to the nearby night market, King Kong Supermarket, which had recently opened, and the beach. Breakfast had a nice range of options, with a different noodle station each day. I loved staying at this villa and would definitely come again. ❤️

Mia, our personal butler at the Residence Resort&Villa, made the stay wonderful. She responded almost instantly whenever I messaged, helped arrange extra towels and water bottles, and booked car service for trips to Vin Pearl Safari and Sunset Town, which made getting there much easier. Since we didn’t know the area well, her recommendations for Spa/ Message parlors at the Sonasea night market were useful too. The villa was very spacious, and the breakfast venue and TR Mart were only a 2-3 minute walk away. We picked up snacks, drinks, and fruit there, and TR Mart will cut the fruit for you. The buggy made it easy to reach the beach, Andochine pool, and Sonasea Market. We also had fun with the SUP and kayak. Check-in and check-out were smooth. We checked in early, then left our luggage at the villa after checkout and came back to catch the airport shuttle.

We stayed as a family with children and were impressed by how well everything was cared for. The villa and shared spaces, including the paths between villas, stayed spotless. Our butler Henry was kind, responsive, and professional, and ready to help with anything. The three-bedroom villa gave us plenty of room and privacy, with a private bathroom in each bedroom and a comfortable living area with a ground-floor kitchen. Breakfast was included in the rate, with a great choice of sweet and savory food. A complimentary buggy ran from morning to evening between the property, beach, and night market, which made getting around easy even with kids. We highly recommend it for families wanting comfort and a stress-free stay in Phu Quoc.

Using the resort as a base for exploring the island worked out brilliantly. Marc at Moto Nomad arranged a big bike rental, and the well-maintained machine gave us the freedom and power to ride the winding roads and reach remote parts of northern Phu Quoc, away from the main tourist strips. For an experienced rider, it’s a great way to explore. Those adventurous days on the bike paired perfectly with the luxurious comfort back at The Resident Resort each evening. The resort itself was a peaceful, luxurious escape, with beautifully designed villas, impeccable service, a main pool, and tranquil gardens. We got both the thrill of the open road and a relaxing place to recharge. Highly recommend The Resident Resort for anyone wanting five-star comfort alongside self-guided island adventure.
