Once we finally got into the room we'd booked, the stay was decent. Getting there was a mess: we'd booked through agoda two days ahead, but the receptionist said they were full and had no room for us. After about 30 minutes of negotiating, she put us in a terrible room that smelled like second hand smoke and had walls with a black and yellow mix of paint and mold. I went downstairs to ask for a discount, and she eventually moved us into the room we had booked. The hotel itself was okay.

We had a comfortable three-night stay in a room with a balcony. Mornings were busy but not too noisy, though the neighbors' dogs got annoying sometimes. The people at Happy Smile didn't smile much. The room was clean enough, with a good bed, aircon, TV, hot water, and okay Wi-Fi. This edge-of-city area has lots of hotels, so you can just try the one next door if this one doesn't suit you.

The owner was enthusiastic and showed guests places to visit. It's a spacious guesthouse near Ghenh Rang. A room with one double bed costs 200k per day and night.
