Sapa Memory Hotel

After trying quite a few places around Sapa, I'd call this a hidden gem. The prices are hard to beat, and the food is pretty good compared with the more touristy spots. The rich, comforting pumpkin soup was the standout. My steak sandwich was more like a bánh mì with patties than a proper steak sandwich, but it was decent for the price. I'd probably skip the wine.

On my second visit, both the food and service were impeccable. Everything was fresh and made to order with care and kindness. There’s also a friendly cat that’s lovely company while dining. I’ll definitely return for a third time, and highly recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting Sapa.

The corn wine stood out, with a rich flavor, none of the harshness that can come from too much strong alcohol, and a smooth, memorable finish. I stopped at Sapa Memory Restaurant & Vegan after wandering around Sapa for a while, and it made for a lovely dinner. The food was comforting and flavorful, and the staff were genuinely sweet. Prices felt fair, especially beside some of the bigger, more expensive places in town. It’s a cozy, down-to-earth spot for a relaxed meal.

The dishes reminded me a lot of Chinese home cooking in Malaysia, though Malaysian diners might find the curry a little pale by comparison. Set 1 was nice, and the set price was very reasonable for the variety they provide. We waited about 50 minutes, but they told us about the delay in advance even though only two or three tables were ahead of us. The calming background music helped while we waited. I went in because of the many returning reviews, and they didn't disappoint. The team put a lot of heart and dedication into the food. Good value for money, full of sincerity. I also liked the chic, youthful entrance decor, and the WC was clean.
