Mo Mang House Tam Đao

I especially appreciated the elevator, since it meant I didn't have to climb so many stairs. The evening show was dazzling, and the home smelled nice and was clean. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, and the room had a beautiful view for watching the clouds.

=))) The homestay recommended the Cherry Blossom room as its highest room, with a view over the Vinh Yen city valley. But when I arrived, it was clearly a renovated guesthouse, and the view was of the barbecue restaurant, not the valley as advertised. The restaurant was on the first floor and my room on the second. At check-in, the receptionist told me there wouldn't be a show that evening. I was really disappointed, since I'd booked the room just to hear the music show, and the homestay hadn't let me know beforehand that it was canceled. The room wasn't great either. If I'd known there'd be no show, I'd have booked a different room with a better view.

With several young children in the room, the bathroom problem made things especially inconvenient, and the extra charges were high. The toilet was clogged as soon as we checked in, before we’d even used it. We reported it, and someone came once, but it clogged again. We kept reporting it the next morning, yet nobody came to fix it. The service was terrible.

The location was nice, and the staff were enthusiastic.
