You have to call for a shuttle to get to the pool, restaurant, or lobby, which is a bit annoying, though it’s well organized and quick. The restaurant was just alright. The rooms are beautiful, the views are great, and the resort is excellent. Best place for a few hundred kilometers around.

The manager came over personally after my first review to apologize and explain the check-in problem. He also let us stay until 1:30pm instead of the usual 12nn, which helped a lot while we waited for our bus transfer to Noi Bai Airport. I appreciated the gesture and the effort from him and the staff, so I’ve changed my rating to 4 stars. Before that, the start of the stay was really disappointing. We’d asked to check in just 30-45 minutes before the usual 2:00pm time, but they wouldn’t allow it. They said rooms had been getting cleaned since 11:30am, which didn’t feel like much of a reason. After a long, tiring trip, the inflexible policy was frustrating. The reception area was tiny too, with only two tables. Around 20 people were left to squeeze in or sit on rocks outside, which didn’t feel very welcoming for a resort.

The hot spring pool was lovely, though there’s no spa, and breakfast wasn’t very good. We stayed in the heritage experience room, which was beautiful and comfortable with an amazing view. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.

I don’t usually post reviews, but this stay pushed me to. The resort itself is nice, though the service and attention to detail didn’t feel like what I expected from a 5-star place. I was in r618 and asked for just 30-60 minutes of extra time at checkout. The front desk said no because the room was booked, but later I saw the same room type still available online. I understand there are policies, but a little flexibility would make guests feel more valued. At check-in, staff didn’t tell me much and said there’d be a guide in the room, but it wasn’t there. I’d chosen the room mainly for its large bathtub, but it wouldn’t hold water. I called a technician, and even after the repair, hot water filled only about one-fifth of the tub. That was really disappointing. 🥹😭😭
