The place didn't feel welcoming or comfortable for tourists. My security bond was kept and never returned. There were tiny ants everywhere in my room, which had neither air conditioning nor a fan. As a woman travelling alone, I found the photos misleading and the property wasn't as described. Its restaurant has been closed for years, but the website doesn't say so. They therefore provide no breakfast or other meals.

The scenery is lovely, and the staff were all very friendly. There's a large dining table that works well for team meals, but guests need to bring their own food since no breakfast or snacks are provided. I found dead cockroaches in the pool and on the path to the room, so cleanliness was a problem. The room felt small for two people, the price was mid-range, and shops and restaurants are quite far away. With better cleanliness and facilities, this place could make good use of its setting and welcoming staff.

Liza, Daniella, and Alice made us feel like part of the family. Their kindness, smiles, and attention to detail really stood out, whether they were sharing local tips, chatting with us, or helping out. Everyone at Coconut Palms Casino Resort made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and went out of their way to make our four-night stay comfortable and memorable. The resort was beautiful and relaxing, with a laid-back but lively atmosphere and everything we needed close at hand. We loved our time there and can't wait to return. Thank you to the whole Coconut Palms team!

The bed was comfortable and clean, and the AC worked, so the overnight airline accommodation wasn't all bad. They tried to help, but getting everyone to their rooms took ages, and the last people had to share one. The room was supposed to have a kettle and tea-making facilities, but there weren't any. The TV only showed Chinese characters and hadn't been set up. Our included meals came from a local takeaway, cold and not very appetizing.

Some parts of the hotel were dated, but the staff were warm and friendly. Manager Sharon went above and beyond, an absolute angel. Enjoy the hotel and island. God bless!
