The food was exquisite and a real taste of Peja’s traditional cooking. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the prices were good. Most memorable, though, were the polite staff and the way they made us feel. I’ll stay here whenever I return to Peja. Many thanks from Shkoder, and thank you for everything!

We stayed three nights, and the huge, filling omelette at breakfast kept us going until evening while we were out hiking. Our room was very large, and the bed was really comfortable. The building and its interior strike a lovely balance between traditional style and modern comfort. This was easily our favourite hotel on our Balkan trip.

The room was beautiful, very tidy, and so clean. The staff were kind and happy to help. This place gives you a real feel for the city’s identity, history, culture, and traditions. I’d recommend it 1000%.

Lunch here alone made the day trip from Pristina worthwhile. We tried Rugova cheese on wooden furnace and the Prizren baking pan, and both the food and Stone Castle wine were outstanding. The restaurant is beautifully restored, the service was great, English was spoken, and the prices were really reasonable.

Everything we ordered was excellent: salads, vegetarian pizza, penne pasta arrabiata, and a bottle of wine. We ate here on a rainy Sunday evening in late September, and it wasn’t very busy. The whole fantastic dinner came to €30.
