Mr. Dean was always happy to share useful advice, and the location made it easy to get around. Boulder Beach and its penguins are five minutes away, and the Cape of Good Hope park is about a 20-minute drive. There’s also a high-quality restaurant just five minutes on foot, with a magnificent view. We stayed for four nights and loved the sea view from the guest house. The bedding was very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. A magical place, honestly, go with your eyes closed!

I came back for another restful stay in this lovely setting. I spent nearly a month here, enjoying the easy-to-reach walks and nearby towns. The accommodation is simple but practical, the WiFi is great, and the hosts are friendly and professional. They’re always ready to help with what you need and make your stay better. I’ll definitely return.

The view is stunning, and De La Hilcremat is very centrally located. Dean and Hilary made us feel welcome and gave us such a beautiful space to stay in. What an amazing place. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Being so close to Simon's Town and Boulders Beach, with its adorable penguins, added to the charm. The apartment itself was bright and peaceful, with lovely homely touches, gorgeous views and so much comfort. Dean and Hilary were like family, always kind and caring, and ready with helpful tips and suggestions. A nomad’s heaven. Can’t wait to come back! 🤗
