The hosts were so friendly and said to let them know if we needed anything. They were also very accommodating about our pets. After unpacking the essentials, we walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Our room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a quick visit. The garden is lovely, and the deck is a relaxing place for morning tea or coffee. There are a few steps to climb, which might put some people off, but we enjoyed the elevated town and sunset views. The church across the road is a beautiful landmark and makes for nice travel photos. A lovely overnight stay on our way back to Cape Town from Johannesburg.

Restaurants are 300m away. The rooms were clean and neat, with everything you need for one night. Perfect for an overnight stop.

The place was dirty, including the shower, microwave, and linen. The shower drain was loose and nearly made me fall. There may have been dog hair too, though I’m not sure. See photos as proof.

After a long day of driving, the clean, welcoming rooms were just what we needed. The guesthouse is easy to reach and perfectly located for a halfway stop. You don’t need to drive for dinner, Die Plattelander Restuarant is less than 100m away. Definitely recommended, and a stroll around this quaint little town is a must.
