Theresa and Jan were so warm and kind, and made us feel completely welcome. After a disastrous booking elsewhere, they went out of their way to fit us in at very short notice on December 31 for three days. Nothing was too much trouble. Housemartin is a true gem, and we highly recommend staying here.

Theresa and Jan were fantastic hosts, and we had a comfortable room and a good breakfast. We happened to be there on a Friday and got to enjoy the amazing braai. We're so glad we chose House Martin, and we'll be back.

Meiringspoort was closed, so my husband and I ended up spending an unexpected night at House Martin. What a find. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and clean.

I left a few little things in the room that I didn't need, and they phoned me and sent a photo so I'd know. That sort of attention to detail stood out, as did the plunger coffee they offered instead of just Nescafé and milk. It's a well-presented place all round, and I'll definitely stay there again.

Right in the centre of the quaint little town, this lovely guest house felt like an oasis. We cooled off and relaxed by the pool, and enjoyed the lush gardens. The room was beautiful and very spacious, and the aircon was much appreciated in the summer heat. Our hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable and even specially cooked a delicious meal. Thank you for your hospitality.
