Durban Accommodation

The bedding was disgusting, the place smelled bad, and the first thing I saw when I walked in was a huge cockroach. I arrived from Gauteng with my husband and two small children, and couldn't believe anyone would charge money for a stay here. I asked for my money back straight away and had to find somewhere else to stay. Please be careful and don't consider booking here. I don't usually write reviews, but felt people should be warned. One word: disgusting.

There were noisy parties on the property without notice, and we couldn't get a peaceful night's sleep. The place was dirty, with litter and broken furniture everywhere. The advertised photos are old, the bedroom ceiling is caving in, and the sitting room walls are cracked open with bad smells coming through. There's no proper braai facility, just a braai between dustbins and rubbish. No value for your money.

The view from the back is spectacular, with a swimming pool and lovely garden. The surroundings and antique furniture have an old style beauty, and the people are friendly and helpful. On Sundays there's a wonderful market where you feel welcome and comfortable while buying fantastic products. Give it a try, thumbs up!

The room was dirty and the interior wasn't maintained. There were worms and bug eggs in the cupboards. It was nothing like the website showed. I wish I could share the pictures we took. Unbelievable that this place is listed there. How can we trust any of the other information?
