The loft was fantastic, and the neighborhood in Upper Durban North is beautiful. I stayed here recently with a friend from Germany, and found the loft extremely hospitable. Hope to stay again soon!

There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the beach is a five-minute drive away. The Loft on Montheith in Durban North is a little gem, away from the city's craziness. The owners have made it feel like home, with friendly staff who keep everything very clean and are always ready to help make the stay enjoyable. It's reasonably priced and a must if you're coming to Durban for business or pleasure.

There's a bit of ocean view from the "deck", plus safe off-street parking. The apartment is very neat and clean, in a great neighborhood. It has stairs. The self-catering basics are simple but sufficient, including pots and pans and a stove.
