With the ocean right there, we could watch dolphins, whales and more. It was peaceful and away from all the traffic, and the hosts were lovely. A perfect getaway. This will be my first choice when we come back.

We made such lovely memories here over Easter 2024. The quiet, clean beach is just a short walk away, and the grandkids were thrilled with the pool. We also had fun with the pool table. From the patio, the sea views are so calm and peaceful. The home was cosy, the location beautiful, and the host was amazing. We'll definitely return.

The view is amazing, and the place has all the facilities, so it really feels like a home away from home. But my family and I spent the long weekend feeling uncomfortable because we didn't have much privacy. We knew the owners lived on the property, but we're very private people, and we were all responsible adults. We didn't need to be treated like children. The geyser was another issue: after one person showered, the water was cold. It was also cold in the room, so we ran the AC on heat for just 20 minutes. The owner came into the house while we were all sitting there and asked us to turn it off, then wanted to go into the bedroom to see why it was on. We had specifically asked for air conditioning before booking and paid the asking price without complaining, so that felt like an invasion of privacy. They had our details and could have raised it over WhatsApp instead. We were also asked to turn the music down around 9 to 9:30 pm because the neighbours had complained, even though the house rules only say no loud music after 10 pm, and we weren't playing it that loudly. Maybe the rules need to be adjusted so future guests don't feel as if they're breaking them. We followed all the rules and kept the house clean throughout. The owners need to give guests privacy. Our stay just didn't feel private.

We've been back to Eden East and felt right at home again. The owners are so welcoming, and even though they live on the same premises, we didn't know they were there. We had complete privacy and even had a party one night without any complaints. Eden East, you'll see us again.

A great weekend spot, with a huge garden and an epic view. The place feels really secure, and the hosts are great. Keen to head back soon!
