The rooms were roomy and clean, and we loved having a porch to sit on. Breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday was a delicious buffet. Alette was so kind and accommodating after we were moved here because our first place had double-booked us. We had a lovely stay at Oregon Guest House and will definitely return.

We felt comfortable parking behind the closed gate, and the host was warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Breakfast had a delicious range of options. Although it was freezing outside, the air conditioning and electric blankets kept us warm and snug. The guest house was easy to find in town, with a petrol station and some food choices a reasonable distance away. We were grateful to find it while driving from Kruger National Park toward the coast. We enjoyed our visit and would stay again if we're ever back in that part of the world.

When our car wouldn't start after we arrived for the cherry festival on a rainy Saturday, the owner helped us contact a mechanic, though he couldn't work out what was wrong. We were due to leave the next day, but had to wait for a tow truck from Vanderbijlpark. Without us even asking, the owner offered us a room for free while we waited. Such a kind woman, and the staff were welcoming and friendly too. The rooms were spotless and breakfast was so delicious. This place deserves five stars.

The owner was so kind and easy to talk to, and the roomy guest house felt safe and comfortable. It was a wonderful stay, a real home away from home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
