It was close to everything, but the room wasn’t fully clean and had a stuffy smell when we arrived that set off my sinuses. Worst of all, there was no hot water for a morning shower. I had to heat water with the supplied gas kettle and stove just to wash at the basin. Not a nice experience.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. I stayed one night in a clean room with everything you could need in the kitchen and bathroom, so it felt like home. It’s a clean, safe place, with a large parking area behind an electronic gate. You get your own gate remote with the room key. Best accommodation I’ve stayed at in the country.

We were ready to go home after a bad experience elsewhere, but meeting the friendly giant Francois was such a relief. He was kind, considerate, and professional, and we ended up staying for 2 nights. The rooms, linen, towels, and property were clean, and there’s safe parking behind security gates. Good value for money! Dankie Francois en span.

Some cockroaches were dead on the floor and seemed to have been there for ages. The place wasn’t clean, and everything was very rusty. The furniture was old, which by itself wouldn’t have bothered us. Our host gave us the keys, then disappeared, and we never saw him again. The door was wide open when we arrived, with it 10° outside. The bed heater on the right side didn’t work, and neither did the bread toaster. We won’t come back.
