The Tusks

We sat outside to watch the sunset, and the view over the indigenous valley was lovely. It's hard to believe these log cabins are right in East London, in the middle of town. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated, and our hostess was delightful. Breakfast was hearty too. There are quite a few stairs, but it was worth it. I'll come back when I'm carrying less stuff!

The view was awesome, and the place was very clean. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone at least once. DSTV didn't work in my room, but that was just bad luck. The hospitality was lovely, and for an affordable guest lodge, it's the best I've stayed at. Well done to the owners.

We had a great stay, even with the lizard that wandered in 😂. The view is really good, the staff are kind, and breakfast was just enough. It's definitely a place to go to.

Quiet, secure and scenic, with a clean room and all the basic facilities. The bathroom was clean too, though carpet flooring in there really isn't ideal and should be changed. Still good value for money.
