Breakfast was a lovely start to each day, freshly made and served with care. Our room was spotless and felt welcoming, and the host was quick to help with anything we needed, with local suggestions too. We felt looked after from the minute we got to Amani guesthouse. I'd happily come back.

The grounds are nicely landscaped and kept in good shape, and the rooms are clean and cared for too. Karl made a great host. I’d recommend this guest house and plan to stay here again on my next trip to PE.

It’s quiet and conveniently placed near coffee shops and malls, so I’d still recommend it for a short work trip. The owner was very helpful when I thought I’d lost my keys, and the rooms were decent with what I needed. A couple of things were frustrating: towels weren’t replaced during my four days, even after I asked on day three. Also, the no-visitors rule was inconvenient. I understand setting limits, perhaps with a rule about unruly visitors, but a complete ban felt like a lot.

Carl was friendly, and it’s a very nice place. My room got quite warm. There was just one other guest during my stay, though I can imagine the patio and outdoor area getting noisy when it’s busier.

Those little chats between us made the place feel like home away from home. Carl welcomed us right away and was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. The rooms stayed clean the whole time. I highly recommend Amani. Thanks, Carl and Buddy.
