The laundry service was excellent, and Mienky was especially helpful and friendly. Relaxed City Living in Port Elizabeth is a lovely place to unwind, with clean, peaceful spaces that are beautifully cared for. The staff are attentive and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels calm and professional as soon as you arrive. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for good service in PE. 🌿✨

The host was very helpful, and Minky was a pleasure to meet. She’s friendly and takes care of the place. We were fitted in at the last minute because we hadn’t expected to reach Port Elizabeth so soon, and it was only about three minutes from my work. The big garden was lovely, and I enjoyed the fresh gooseberries. There was a microwave, fridge, and kettle in the kitchenette, plus porridge and rusks, a nice touch. The shower was the main problem. It was really bad, with rusty metal, poor lighting, and not enough space. The mattress was also in poor, unhygienic condition, badly stained, and made me feel gross. It was very unique, but it served its purpose, and I feel bad complaining because the host was so helpful.

The self-catering unit is beautiful and well equipped. It was handy being able to check in just after 6pm, and the staff were friendly. Finding muesli and yoghurt in the fridge for breakfast the next day was a bonus. I also liked that their information book mentions local businesses and that they encourage saving water.
