The Blue Lotus has a lovely host and such warm, friendly staff. I stayed with my husband and our one year old, and it met all our needs. We love the pool and how neat and tidy everything is. This is our go to guest house whenever we're in Summerstrand.

It was peaceful, with excellent security, and everything was clean and well looked after. The guesthouse is close to the beach and easy to get to. Kitchen utensils, towels, and the other things we needed were provided, and there’s a safe for valuables. We had a wonderful time 😊😊😊😊😊

Ann was a perfect host and made herself available whenever anything came up. I felt well looked after, and really enjoyed the atmosphere. A special, beautiful place, and I had a great stay. One for the travel books.

Affordable, tidy, and close to all the amenities. The bed is large and neat, but not very comfortable, so replacing the mattress would help. For loadshedding, they should provide lanterns or LED lamps, and a generator.

For what we paid, it didn't feel worth it. We felt like intruders when we used the pool or asked for toilet roll, which they didn't replace after it was used. The lady was okay, but the rest of the family weren't. Since they live on the premises, it also made us uncomfortable. Really not a good place for the price.
