The owners were among the friendliest hosts I’ve met, and the property felt beautiful and safe. There were plenty of condiments and dishes in the kitchen, several relaxed spots to sit, and a porch with a lovely view over the bush. The pets were friendly too. The trouble was with guests in other rooms. There’d been a mix-up over the bookings, and they thought they had reserved the whole villa. Their hostility made the rest of our stay unpleasant. I’d suggest booking the entire villa with friends or family to avoid clashes with guests like that.

When it got cold at night during my little sister’s birthday celebrations, they made a fire for us. The place was clean, and the service and friendliness were amazing. A must come back, bravo to Concordia VOC.

We loved everything here, especially the garden and pool. A fire was lit for us late at night, and the next day the owner took us on a game drive in his bakkie.

Kees and Sari were so humble and thoughtful, and made sure we got great service. They really embody UBUNTU, that spirit of humanity we always talk about in South Africa. The house was clean, from the bedding and toilets to the kitchen and pool. It’s quiet and rejuvenating, and my three friends and I had a lovely weekend at Concordia VOC. We’d definitely go back and recommend it for a blissful weekend. Book ahead to avoid disappointment. Aziwe ke (let’s roll it).
