The dam view was great and the staff were really friendly, so it was an amazing experience. Still, I didn't feel safe because the front doors wouldn't lock. The bathroom door wouldn't close either, and the internet was very poor.

This is among the cleanest, best organised guest houses I've stayed in. The rooms were in five-star condition, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Security was excellent too. The owners should keep the current manageress, who is professional and a star. I'd recommend Hannetjie at Point of View for bookings. A very happy traveller, and I'd recommend this place to families or anyone wanting a few days to relax.

Definitely not recommended. The rooms weren't up to standard: no crockery or cutlery, a broken toilet seat, and black bags covering the bathroom window. The air conditioning didn't work, and noise went on until 03:00 in the morning.

The place is gorgeous, and we had an amazing Easter weekend there with my boyfriend. Hannetjie and Maureen were great hosts. We'll definitely come back :)

The service was 100000% good, but the stay wasn't worth R800 a night. The furniture is old, the bed is very uncomfortable, and the shower stinks.
