Warthogs, mongoose and other animals came by while we were staying. The pool between the houses was lovely, and the rooms were great, with outdoor showers in some. The beds were huge and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

The owner was helpful and gave us lots of information, and cleaning was offered daily except Sunday. The villa has four rooms, two with outdoor showers and two with indoor ones. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and towels, shower gel, shampoo and a hair dryer were provided. The shower ran a bit slowly, and the hair dryer was a little old. Power cuts happened for a few hours each day because of the shortage in the country. It wasn’t too bad since there’s a generator in the common area, though it doesn’t supply the bedrooms. A very nice place to stay.

Tracey, the hostess, was warm and hospitable, and gave us lots of excellent tips. The lodge felt luxurious and secure, with bush all around, plus warthogs and birds nearby. Our room was lovely and comfortable, with its own bathroom and a separate outdoor shower.

It’s hard to leave this little piece of paradise, even though restaurants and shops are close by. Everything you need for a self catering getaway is taken care of. We just wanted to sip chilled wine or a gin and tonic and soak up the peace, with visits from bushbabies, the resident warthog and a few antelope.

Such a beautiful place and worth the price. I loved it, though the outside could use a bit of attention and the place needs some polishing.
