We used this place as a base for a nearby wedding, booking Rooms 1 & 2 for 2 nights and rooms 7 & 8 for 1 night. The rooms were neat and well equipped, and the views from them were very scenic. Noluthando and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful, and we got excellent service and support. Breakfast was freshly made, with a traditional English option as well as cereals, fruit, yoghurt, filter coffee, and tea. There was no TV or WiFi in the rooms, though, and WiFi was only available at reception, which wasn’t open around the clock.

The views across the hills were lovely, and the location made it easy to get to most places, though you do have to use a dirt road. We spent a few evenings at Midlands Forest Lodge in unit 11, a spacious family setup with two separate rooms and a bathroom for each. The kitchen felt a bit small for cooking. Each room had a heater, which we needed in winter.

That games deck by the on-site brewer is a clever spot to have a handcrafted beer, play table tennis, or listen to music while watching the sun go down. The view is fantastic. The cabins are exceptionally tasteful, and the staff are excellent. The surrounding mistbelt flora and fauna are pristine and beautiful, a real green sanctuary.

The roads weren’t too bad, and checking in was easy. The rooms were wonderful, and the setting is beautiful and peaceful. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could.
