The owner really went out of their way to help us, and parking on site felt safe and secure. We had a fun boutique-style apartment in Jeffreys Bay, close to great eateries and delis, as well as the beach and surf village.

Lolly & Tanya were really great, and the place looked beautiful and impressive when we arrived. We were excited about the funky, modern self-catering accommodation, but the phone assurance that all the units were self-catering turned out not to be true. There was no kitchen, just a kettle for coffee, and no TV in the bedroom. To us it felt more like a dressed-up Back Packers and should be advertised that way. At R1000 a night, that seems steep.

The decor is tasteful, and it felt almost like a home away from home. Prices seemed well balanced in and out of season, and the sights were easy to get to. It caters to a wide range of holiday needs and could work well for a wedding group or 21st birthday. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hostess is a sweetheart. I loved my time here and would definitely come back. A great option for locals and tourists.

Lolly even washed a load of our laundry, so we could pack clean clothes before flying out of PE the next day. The Funky Town also had a cosy room, parking inside the fenced property, and shops, cafes and restaurants an easy walk away.

Funky town didn't match the impression they give, and we left completely dissatisfied. Our room looked different from the photos, and we were accused of misbehaving just for sitting by the pool. There was hardly any privacy, and our bathroom door wouldn't close.
