Courtyard Hotel Rosebank

I was upgraded to a roomy two-bedroom suite, with a bathtub in one ensuite and a shower in the other. The kitchen had a fridge, coffee machine, and kettle, with cups, tea bags, and sugar supplied. There was also a compact but useful hairdryer tucked in a bedroom desk drawer. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is right across from The Zone mall, full of shops and restaurants, and the Citysight seeing bus office and stop are across the road too. Going to the mall during the day was easy, but after 6pm staff would escort you or send a security guard to meet you if you called. Mashe Tours arranged my airport pickup, which was excellent. Breakfast was fine, and you could ask for eggs your way at the buffet station.

The rooms should live up to the location, but the design feels very dated and needs an upgrade. The TV is old and doesn't connect properly, and the old air conditioning doesn't warm the room. Some things really need to be changed.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It's one of the best places I've stayed, and I hope to return soon.

For my 10-night stay, room service only left bottled water for the first two nights. When I raised it with reception, they said the hotel was full and they didn't have enough bottles. I had to go down to reception and ask them for one whenever I needed water.
