We felt right at home here. The rooms were clean and nice, though simple rather than fancy, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The garden is lovely, with a small, cosy pool, and the area felt relatively safe. Breakfast was delicious, with fruit, yoghurt, muesli and a choice of one hot dish, either eggs or oatmeal. We loved our stay, thank you!

The owners are such lovely people, and breakfast was great and included. Our room was clean and nice, too. It’s in one of the safer suburbs, so if you’re spending a couple of days in Johannesburg, I’d stay here.

We took a short break together and picking this place was such a good call. It feels like a home away from home, with friendly staff and clean, roomy bedrooms that had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices. We could walk to the Melville hub, which meant we could get a little tipsy and stroll back. We’ll definitely return.

The neighborhood has a lively feel and a really good vibe. I stayed at the guesthouse with friends, and everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the night watcher. The place is beautiful, our room was pleasant, and breakfast was great. The hosts also offer lots of services. I’d come back if I get the chance to visit Joburg again.
