We felt much more rested after a night at Journey's Inn. We had driven from Mpumalanga, missed our flight, and needed a place for my parents and me to stay until the next morning. The owners and staff were friendly and professional, and the shuttle driver was polite when he took us to the airport. We were offered two rooms, both good quality and very affordable. After drinks from the bar and food we'd had delivered, we really enjoyed our stay. There was even a beautiful, friendly cat. The guest house is close to O.R. Tambo, so planes taking off can be heard at night. I'm a light sleeper and would suggest bringing earplugs. I found the place by chance, and the booking help was efficient, friendly, and professional.

The bedding they changed for us didn't feel fresh at all, as if it had been sitting in storage for years. Service was poor, and staying at this guest house was the worst experience of my life. Zero stars.

We were welcomed warmly by our host, and the clean, comfortable rooms had a real local feel. Journey's Inn Africa is handy for the airport and also well placed for nearby restaurants and shopping malls. I'd happily recommend it to anyone who needs to stay near the airport.

The garden is full of beautiful plants, and being outside made me forget I was in Johannesburg. The place feels so homey and lovely, and the room was clean and comfortable. The food was divine, and the staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful. Everything feels put together so well. It's a must-see, and I'll definitely visit again and recommend it to others.

The garden bonfire was a lovely way to unwind, chat, and get to know other travellers. The lodge is beautifully set up, and Monique welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home right away. She made our lunch as soon as we asked, so we could eat before our city tour. She was friendly and very focused on looking after guests. Even with my allergy, I enjoyed the stay. Thank you for having us. There is a cat on the property. I think guests should be told about pets in advance, since that kind of openness helps build trust.
