Linga Longa Guest House

The Linga Longa has stayed our go-to guest house even two years later, and it's become our home away from home when we're in and around Johannesburg. The owners, Graham and Salo, are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, and airport pickup and drop-off are available for a very reasonable fee. The back yard is a lovely quiet spot to relax, with grass, flowers, seating in both sun and shade, and a pool for hot summer days. Breakfast is delicious and made to order, and they even have an American-style filter coffee machine.

Of all the guest houses we've stayed at, Linga Longa is the one we'd recommend to anyone, any time. We stayed on 22/01/2023 and only wished we could have stayed longer. The owners make you feel at home, the place is safe and very clean, the rooms are beautiful and modern with personal touches, and the food is delicious.

Staying at Linga Longa was such a pleasure, and I'll definitely be back. Salo and Graham were fantastic and welcoming, went beyond what we expected, and took care of every need. The food was superb, the rooms spotless and very comfortable, and the pool and braai area were amazing.

A colleague recommended Linga Longa Guest House for my short Johannesburg layover last week, and it worked out really well. It's about a 10 minute drive from the airport, and Graham gave me rides there and back. I found the room comfortable and well-appointed, and breakfast the next morning was good. Highly recommend!
