Howard took us on a forest walk and pointed out all kinds of plants, birds, fungi and insects. Jen also led a breathwork session that we both got a lot from. She’s thoughtful, warm, and really easy to be around. We stayed in the Sunbird cottage, which was clean, cozy and quiet, and the whole place felt like home. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed while traveling. We’d absolutely recommend it! ☀️

The forest setting made it easy to slow down and feel grounded. The accommodation was lovely and comfortable, the staff were great, and everything was easy to get to. Peace of Eden really does feel like a little piece of paradise. Already looking forward to coming back.

We stayed a night in the tent tucked into the property’s lush forest and loved it. The tent was very comfortable, and the little kitchen area was cozy. The outdoor shower and toilet worked well for us, too. At night, the fairy lights made everything feel even more magical. Such a peaceful spot. We’d come back next time we’re nearby.

We spent two nights at Peace of Eden on a road trip, and baboons playing beside our camper were part of the welcome. The forest views from the toilet and the wild nature around us were incredible, and the night sky was something else. Jen and her crew were so generous. Their homemade meals, made with homegrown vegetables, had loads of natural flavor and goodness. This was a one-of-a-kind retreat, and a must for vegans traveling the Garden Route. We can’t wait to return for a longer stay 💚

There are some great hikes just down the road, easily among the prettiest we saw on the Garden Route. Peace of Eden itself is a magical stay in the forest, yet still fairly close to town, the beach and some lovely viewpoints. Jen, Howard and Jess look after a truly special place. I can’t recommend it enough.
