Rensia and her husband Peter were super helpful. They fitted in our arrival, booked us tables at good nearby restaurants and made delicious breakfasts. Their lodge is charming, quiet and secluded, with lots of birds to watch. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, even though it was too short. Thank you both!

After a short break, I returned to Pumula Lodge last week. I’ve stayed here for years and still find it a superb place to relax, with all the amenities nearby. One of the best boutique guest houses in Knysna.

This was our second stay at Pumula Lodge. Rensia & Pieter are wonderful hosts, and their local knowledge helped us find interesting places to visit. The accommodation and surroundings are beautiful, and there’s access to a kitchen area. Each morning we had a hearty, varied breakfast that set us up for the day. Thank you.

I felt so spoilt during my two nights here. The place is beautiful, and the owners, Rensia and Pieter, are just lovely. You’re in for a real treat.

I’ve used their services for many years. It’s an excellent guest house, very neat, set in peaceful surroundings, with friendly and helpful staff. It’s near Life hospital.
