Langebaan Boutique Hotel and Spa

I was furious and disappointed by what happened at Langebaan Boutique Hotel and Spa on 2 January 2026. My mother and I had a confirmed, paid booking, but when we arrived, staff said they couldn't find it. That left us without a place to stay in Langebaan, and I had to drive all the way home. I had booked the advertised King room with two double beds and a spa bath. When I asked about that room, manager TK said they had no rooms like it, even though the receptionist had confirmed just minutes earlier that a family room matching those details was available. The hotel had apparently missed our booking and overbooked, yet nobody apologized. There was no customer service or empathy.

Pathetic service. I booked a spa visit with Avida for three women on Sunday, 21 December. The plan was two back and neck massages, two Indian head massages, and one specialised facial. When I called on the 20th to change the facial to an extra back and neck massage and an Indian head massage, I was told they had no booking for us and no appointments left.

I wanted to use the courtyard pool, but it looked dirty and neglected. A pool like that should be clear and inviting. The water pressure was also so weak I could barely rinse shampoo from my hair. The bathroom vanity was worn out and seemed overdue for replacement, and the bedside tables were scuffed and poorly maintained. I couldn't tell whether that was meant to be a rustic look. For the rate I paid, the stay was disappointing and not worth the money. I won't return.

Lulu, Fatima, and their team made our three-day wedding anniversary stay really memorable. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, and we even spotted a deer and a sheep on the property. Thanks again, TK. We hope to return soon and wish you all the best for the seasons ahead.
