Stay away if you’re travelling for business. They couldn’t give me an invoice when I checked in because the woman said she was busy. The next morning a different guy promised to send it, but after several requests I only got it three weeks later. Service was pathetic from the start: when we arrived to book a room, we were told to wait because she was doing admin, and she kept making it clear she was busy after every sentence. The breakfast wasn’t great for the price either, other places charge R80 for the same breakfast. If you’re after a one-night stand, this is the place to go.

Breakfast was good and came on time, and the staff were kind and attentive. We stayed overnight on a business trip, and everything was clean, with lovely linen and finishes. It’s one of the best guesthouses I’ve stayed in, so cozy and stunning. I’ll definitely come back.

The place is peaceful and quiet, and the breakfast was fresh and clean. I’ve never seen better in KZN. The rooms were super clean, the linen spotless, and they smelled so nice.

We came for a funeral on Friday, and there was no water. On Saturday, the day of the funeral, I had to go to the service without a shower. There were five of us in the family. We reported it and were only told there was a problem. No help getting water and no backup plan for guests. I’m still trying to figure out how I feel about it.
