We had lunch outside in the open air seating upstairs on a 31°C day, and it was divine. The ocean breeze and the cool air from the Restaurant made sitting there a real pleasure. The view is the best in Parternoster. We ordered the Snoek and chips with apricot jam basting, plus Chicken thermidor with veg, and both were fantastic. The chocolate cake was brilliant too, a great end with a cappuccino. Definitely a stop worth making.

We expected a pleasant Valentine's Day breakfast, but came away very disappointed. They had no bacon, and when we asked for brown bread, white bread arrived instead. The bread was dry, but they had neither butter nor margarine to offer. Those are basic breakfast items, so it made us wonder why breakfast was being served at all when essentials were missing. The service and lack of preparation were especially disappointing on a special day.

My air conditioner wasn't working, and I found bugs in the bed. The restaurant shut at 4pm and didn't help us find another place to eat. Everywhere nearby was fully booked, so we ended up eating in the wind.

We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. The rooms were lovely, the food was phenomenal, and the beach is very close. Great views too.

Breakfast was just average. I ordered hot livers with the standard breakfast, but they came sweet rather than hot.
