It was clean and the owners were friendly, and for the price it was okay. But our cottage didn't look like the photos: just one big room with the beds and a tiny kitchen. There was no kitchen basin, only one in the room. It had aircon, but it was noisy, and there was no fan as another option. For one weekend, the price jumped to nearly R2000 per night, and at that rate it isn't worth it.

Ken and Monica were thoughtful, caring hosts at our end-of-year celebration. Lincoln Cottages is a lovely, well-kept place in the heart of Lincoln Meade. It made for a stress-free, well-organised visit.

The owner was pleasant, but forgetful. I had to ask for milk three times, and even with the door locked, I could pull it open. The photos seemed old and misleading because the establishment is much older than they suggest. It was clean, which is why I'm giving three stars, but I've stayed at much nicer places for the same price. It's expensive for what you get.
