Glen Maine Guest House

The garden is lovely, and even though it’s close to the road, you don’t hear the motorway. It’s only a few minutes to get back on your route. The room was clean and well equipped, the staff were friendly and communication was good. Great value for a short stay.

We felt so welcome here. The guesthouse is beautiful, clean, spacious, and really affordable. We’ll definitely recommend it and come back. Thank you, Glen Maine Guesthouse 🙏

We found somewhere else to stay, but the way this was handled left a poor impression of the customer service. We called at 4:50 am looking for urgent accommodation and nobody answered. At 8:50 pm the next day, a staff member called back and asked who I was and why we had called at that hour. For a hospitality business, I found that response concerning and unprofessional. Someone needing urgent help should be met with courtesy and empathy, and the first question could have been how to help us instead of challenging why we called. I’d recommend customer service training so future guests feel welcome and respected.

Rosie made sure our room was cleaned first so we could check in early and get to our appointment. She’s lovely, always smiling, and ready to help, which makes guests feel welcome. Nicky is a perfect host too. We stayed at Glen Maine Geust House for the second time on the weekend of 07/02/2024, and we’ll definitely be back. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, neat, and clean. The location is convenient, with great restaurants and shopping centres just a stone’s throw away. I recommend Glen Maine Guest House every time.
