Such a pretty place, and breakfast was lovely. The staff were nice too. But dinner's oxtail was bad, and about half the wines on the menu weren't available. The TV wouldn't turn on, the receptionist couldn't activate my room key, and the carpets need cleaning or replacing. It's a lovely place, but it needs a lot of attention if it's going to stay in business.

The team really made my wife's 50th birthday feel special. We had 60 people there on Saturday night, with exclusive use of the reception area for welcome drinks and the restaurant for the function. The venue was perfect for the occasion, and the buffet was good and reasonably priced. There were also reasonably priced alcohol options. Staff were professional, courteous, and went out of their way for us. 100% from me. Well done.

My friends surprised me with a baby shower here, and it was such a pleasant time. We had our own private room and a dedicated waitress, Busisiwe, who took great care of everything we needed. The food was delicious, and the scenery was impeccable.

They even baked croissants specially when I wanted some in the morning, and the spa added an extra 30 minutes to my massage for free. I loved the service and will come back. The view from my room wasn't great, though, so next time I'll book ahead and ask for a room facing the pool.

Nothing went right with the high tea booking. They served food that wasn't on the menu we'd agreed to, including options I don't eat, even though I'd discussed that with the front desk manager a couple of weeks earlier. And somehow there wasn't any tea at the high tea. Such a disappointment.
