The garden was lovely and the place itself was nice, though the photos had set my expectations higher. Compared with other stops on our South Africa road trip, it didn’t feel worth the price. The murals were closed off, the views were pretty limited, and breakfast was average, nothing special.

Springbok is a quiet rural town, and this place feels like an oasis there. The pool is small but fresh, with a beautiful mountain view. Staff are friendly and breakfast is good. The main street’s shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and walking around Springbok is generally safe.

The peaceful setting and views over the mountains and valley made our stay at Mountain View Guesthouse in Springbok feel close to nature. We had lovely evenings around the braai with family and friends, sharing stories and laughter. The staff were warm and welcoming, and Malcolm’s hospitality stood out. He knows the area well, took time to share stories, and pointed out good places to see the flowers. We also had a wonderful dinner at Malcolm’s Okiep Country Lodge. Thanks to Malcolm and the team for such a memorable visit. We’ll definitely return.

We stayed at the guest house this past Sunday and had a great time. Chris went out of his way to make us feel at home. Honestly, his hospitality was 10/10. We’ll be back soon.
