Our two nights went by too quickly, and we'll definitely come back. The host was friendly and gave us privacy. We usually choose chalets because our past guesthouse stays haven't been great, but Turlbagh Stay felt like home away from home and changed how we see guesthouses.

The listing could be clearer. Another couple and we were confused about what seemed to be offered versus what was actually available. At check-in, our room had been given to someone else, so we had to wait while they were moved and our room was prepared. We stayed three nights and didn't see the owner once. Nobody checked in with us or offered milk.

They were very accommodating and went out of their way when we could only arrive at midnight. The rooms are nicely furnished. The surrounding area looks quite run down, but the property itself is beautifully kept and secure. Thank you, Tulbagh stay!

The rooms are neatly designed and the rates are the best in Tulbagh. Tulbagh Stay is a great choice for couples and travellers, with amazing service and local tips on things to do in and around Tulbagh. The hospitality was extraordinary. I gladly give my highest recommendation and wish Gavin all the best for the future.

It's spacious and accommodating, with a quiet feel even though it's in a somewhat isolated spot. I love how earthy the place is, and the paintings are beautiful. Just remember to bring your own soap, lol.
